PFLI Fun Facts Phot credit: Dick Hunt The Photographic Federation of Long Island is a member of the Photographic Society of America. Our not-for-profit organization began by a Newsday photographer, Leonard Victor, in the 1970s. Over the many years, we have had over 4,000 thousand members join one of our clubs. Currently, we have over 400 members and more than 20 clubs in the Long Island, Queens and NYC area. Our members get together for photo shoots and we offer in-person and online presentations for photography education. We hold competitions to reward the best. Most of all, we love photography!
